This work aims to understand the factors influencing pharmaceutical access, pricing, and affordability across countries. Taking a global lens, we examine several supply and demand side factors, including regulatory approaches, health system design, and governance differences. Bringing together data on pharmaceutical sales data and claims data on pharmaceutical use across countries, we are uniquely positioned to understand dynamics that influence the market availability of pharmaceuticals and patient accessibility within systems.
