Grace Spiro, PhD
Assistant Professor, Health, Aging & Society, McMaster UniversityHamilton, Ontario, CanadaDr. Grace Spiro is an applied health scientist whose research focuses on advancing equitable, person-centred health systems through the integration of health equity, intersectionality, and data-informed approaches. Her work examines how health systems collect, use, and act on sociodemographic information to better understand and address disparities in care and outcomes. Embedded within health system settings, she partners with decision-makers, providers, and communities to translate research into actionable strategies that improve care delivery and reduce inequities. Her program of research draws on interdisciplinary approaches spanning population health, health services research, and implementation science. -
Chris Bai
Senior Research Associate, Health System Performance Network (HSPN)Toronto, Ontario, CanadaChris Bai is a Senior Research Associate with the Health System Performance Network (HSPN), specializing in the design, analysis, and reporting of health services research using linked health administrative, survey, and clinical assessment data available through ICES. His research focuses on multimorbidity, frailty, health equity, and health system performance, and he has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in these areas. Chris has also contributed to the quantitative evaluation of Ontario Health Teams and other initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery and health system outcomes.
