Zeynep specializes in comparative policy analysis, international health policy and public policy evaluations. Her research interests include assessment of performance and sustainability of healthcare, analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of different care models.  She is an active member of several international networks, such as European Observatory of Health Systems and Policy Monitor, European Health Policy Group, and works regularly as an expert with the World Health Organisation, the European Commission, and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). She is an associate editor of the journal Health Policy.
